The Best & the Worst of John Adams

Grays, browns, black , muted greens and blues seem to predominate.

When we first see TJ, he's wearing a soft blue coat with lace-trimmed vest, appropriate for keeping cool  in Congress.Hmm,  that ratty faded blue coat looks familiar.  I won't even hazard a guess on the rest of that getup. Sorry TJ, I think 50 years is a reasonable closet rule.  Burn it!Loved the double-breasted black  waistcoat with the olive/brown breeches
Dillane rocked the gray silk with matching side-button breeches.Too bad more men weren't shown wearing the very popular "banyan", a robe-like garment that they put on as soon as they got home.  Who can blame them. The Secretary of State suffers from being too cute for words.
Fuming hot in navy and whiteTight shoulders was probably the height of fashion, but I just didn't like the brown suit or matching buckled hat. That sexy little row of buttons below the knee will eventually go out of fashion as pant length increases.
Damn it..
*pounds table in approval*
Hancock's dusty mauve suit with gray vest was way too hot to be hung in.
Hamilton's dark maroon breeches and grayish waistcoat  didn't impress Adams, but I liked it.Abby's royal blue empire waist dress with rose sash was tasteful, and a welcome splash of color for the women.
The Delaware delegate earns the Shabby Chic award.  I don't even wanna think about what his medical "treatment" consisted of.
Genet may have been a little shit-disturber, but he looked sharp in pinstripe vest.
George loved a man in uniform, especially himself. The jackboots really tie the outfit together.A fashion disaster, if you ask me.
Nabby's pale pink wedding dress.Sam Adams was raring to go in red

Dickinson stuck by his principles, but looked a lot better on a horse.JA stood out like a sore thumb in Charles'  hood.. Scary!
"We know which way the wind blows." No doubt, with that heavy leather coat. No, no, no. Abigail's plain white jumper with cameo.
